I'm Sihab Sahariar, an AI and robotics engineer. I've built video-intelligence systems as a senior AI engineer at Lynkeus AI, led robotics teams to international finals, published in Scientific Reports, and I ship open-source tools like VolumeX, Umbra and ForensicVision.
01 · Featured work
A volume booster for Windows that pushes any single app, or the whole PC, past 100% without the crackle. Only boosted apps take the boost path, through a virtual cable and a look-ahead limiter; everything else plays untouched. It remembers every app's level, has a boost hotkey, per-device presets and a tray mixer.
A privacy screen for Windows. It uses the webcam and on-device face tracking to notice when you look away, and hides your screen until you look back. It includes a guided calibration that fits it to each person's desk, four cover styles and a tray app with a global hotkey.
A native desktop workstation for forensic image analysis and enhancement that tells you which parts of a result were measured and which were invented. It covers case management, integrity hashes, AI restoration and super-resolution, comparison views and PDF reports.
02 · Selected projects
An in-car dashboard prototype with a speedometer, fuel status, date and time, built in Python. My most-starred and most-forked repo.
Faster real-time video processing by moving frame capture onto its own thread, with a threaded vs. non-threaded benchmark and a Medium write-up.
Python scripts running object detection with the YOLOv11 model exported to ONNX, so inference runs without a full deep-learning framework.
My research code and documents from the Mars-rover control & AI team: a PyQt control GUI with camera feeds and GPS map readout, data recording and robot feedback.
Basic obstacle avoidance and navigation for a rover using Python and OpenCV, driven by a single camera.
Face verification and enrollment with real-time liveness checks (head tilts, blinks), Facenet512 matching and a PyQt5 dashboard.
Detects and tracks people in video with YOLOv8 to count them in real time.
A document scanner with automatic edge detection, perspective correction and EasyOCR text extraction, processing many images concurrently.
A lane-line detection system for driver assistance built on classical OpenCV techniques, without any learned model.
A PyQt5 app that visualises how different sorting algorithms shuffle and sort data.
Plays GStreamer video pipelines inside a PyQt5 interface: a building block for camera and streaming apps.
Control interface for BRACU Mongol Tori, BRAC University's next-generation Mars rover.
